The First of Many... or Few... Who Knows?

Welcome.

Here is my blog, which will serve as a way to gather my thoughts about my plays and the struggles of writing these plays. All I want to do with my life is write plays and have them produced. Such a simple plan. Just write the plays and they will be produced. What I have learned so far in my endeavors while getting my MFA in Playwriting at the University of Iowa, is that there are so many paths to take to become a professional, produced playwright. There are no "right" or "wrong" paths to take. Except for "not writing." That's the only thing that'll slightly hinder a career in writing.

So, now I take to the blog as a way to formulate ideas and wrestle in the mud of creation. It's a bit messy, but I love it.
