Worldview

A couple days ago a friend of mine asked me to define "worldview," and asked me what my worldview was...

I gave her some answer that even I can't really understand or remember. I think it sounded something like the tagline to "American Beauty:" "Look Closer."

After having some time to think about it more and having the film and soundtrack to the Julie Taymor film "Across the Universe" in my mind, I realize that my worldview can be summed up in three Beatles songs:

"Let it Be"
"All You Need is Love"
"Hey Jude"

And it has resurfaced that "Let it Be" is, in fact, my favorite song of all-time. I've told Rachael to have it sung at my funeral with a gospel choir.
