My wife, Rachael, has been invited to The Institute for Music in Human and Social Development's conference on Dance, Timing, and Musical Gesture to be held at The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, UK, from June 13th to 15th, 2008. She will present her paper ‘Gender and Music in [Mark] Morris' "Dido and Aeneas"' as a 15-minute talk, followed by 5 minutes for questions.
She was also awarded one of the three student scholarships that covers pretty much everything (including morning and afternoon tea) except travel.
Again, my wife rocks.
